Questions We Get Asked A Lot

Not Sure Where To Start?
Which class should I start with?
If you're completely new to yoga, Pilates or movement, we'd recommend starting with:
-
Mobility
-
Yin Yoga
-
Mat Pilates
-
Reformer Fundamentals (when available)
If you're unsure, reach out and we'll happily recommend the best class for you.
Do I need to be fit or flexible?
Not at all.
Many of our members start because they want to improve their strength, mobility, flexibility, energy levels or stress resilience.
You don't need to be fit to begin. Beginning is how you get there.
I've never done yoga or reformer before. Will I keep up?
Absolutely.
Every class includes options, modifications and progressions so you can move at your own pace.
Our teachers are there to guide and support you every step of the way.
What if I have an injury?
Please let your teacher know before class begins.
We can often provide modifications and alternatives to help you move comfortably and safely.
Can I attend while pregnant?
In many cases, yes.
Please let us know before class and ensure you've received clearance from your healthcare provider.
Please note that infrared heated classes are not recommended during pregnancy.

-
Change of mind

Missed classes
-
Unused memberships or credits

Studio closures or circumstances outside of our control
If exceptional circumstances arise, please reach out. We'll always do our best to find a fair and reasonable solution where possible.

Bookings & Waitlists
How do I book a class?
All bookings are made through Momence. You can use the Momence app or book through our website.
We recommend booking ahead, particularly during holidays and busy periods.
Cancelling A Class
Life happens, and we completely understand.
If you can no longer attend, please cancel your booking through Momence at least 4 hours before class begins. This gives someone on the waitlist the opportunity to enjoy the spot you've reserved.
Please note:
-
Cancellations made within 4 hours of class start time are considered a late cancellation.
-
Late cancellations incur a $15 fee for Yoga, Mat Pilates & Mobility and a $20 fee for Reformer Pilates.
-
Failure to attend a booked class without cancelling incurs a $15 no-show fee for Yoga, Mat Pilates & Mobility and a $25 no-show fee for Reformer Pilates.
-
Class credits are forfeited for both late cancellations and no-shows.
These policies help keep classes accessible and fair for everyone in our community, particularly when waitlists are involved.
Checking In
Please remember to check in with your teacher when you arrive for class.
If you forget to check in, our system may record your booking as a no-show, which can result in a no-show fee being applied.
Checking in takes just a few seconds and helps us keep attendance records accurate for both members and teachers.
How do waitlists work?
If a class is full, don't worry, jump on the waitlist.
Spots often become available as plans change, and our waitlist system works hard behind the scenes to fill every available place.
Here's how it works:
-
When a spot becomes available, the first person on the waitlist receives an SMS invitation to claim it.
-
The spot is temporarily reserved while they decide.
-
They have 10 minutes to accept the booking.
-
If they don't respond within 10 minutes, the invitation automatically moves to the next person on the waitlist.
-
This process continues until the spot is filled.
If you're on a waitlist, keep an eye on your phone, especially in the hours leading up to class. You'd be surprised how often spots become available.
What happens if I'm running late?
To help create a calm and enjoyable experience for everyone, the studio door may be locked shortly after class begins.
Unfortunately, late arrivals may not be able to join once class has started.
